Thank you for your interest in being a beta reader for my new book, Say “Yes, And!” to Change.
If you’ve ever led change, lived through it, or watched a good idea stall because people got stuck, your perspective will help make this book significantly better.
This is an early reader draft, and your input will help shape it into something people actually use, not just read once and forget.
What you’ll get
- An advance copy of the book (PDF or Word doc)
- A first look at the YES AND Framework for navigating change
- The satisfaction of knowing you helped shape the final version of the book
What I’m asking you to do (simple)
I’m not looking for proofreading or line edits. I only need feedback on whether the book achieves my goals for it…
How well does this draft succeed at being:
Useful - Would someone know what to do with these ideas? Does it feel actionable and practical? Does it feel like a “keep this on my desk” book or a “read once and move on” book?
Clear - Do the ideas make sense to someone who isn’t inside my brain? Do the improv principles translate clearly to the workplace and real-world change?
Engaging - Is it enjoyable to read? Does my voice and personality come through? Are there sections that feel slow, skimmable, or especially compelling?
Unique - Even while building on familiar principles, does this feel distinct? Are there fresh perspectives or approaches that stand out from other change and leadership books?
That’s it.
How to give feedback
Choose whatever’s easiest for you:
- Chapter-by-chapter notes
- One summary at the end
- Or even just:
- “Here’s what worked best…”
- “Here’s where I got confused…”
- “Here’s where I skimmed…”
All of that is incredibly helpful.
Important timing
Please send your feedback by Friday, January 16, 2026.
Even brief feedback by that date is valuable - and much appreciated!
A few notes about this draft
- Formatting: Edited, but not fully designed. I don’t have a cover yet either.
- Typos: There may be a few; no need to flag them
- Citations: Some sources appear as URLs for now
- Images: Two visuals are included (YES AND Framework + Change Resistance Ladder). These are temporary versions; final graphics will be professionally designed.
- Bonus Link: Each framework chapter ends with an improv game and a link to get a deeper explanation and video example - those pages and links are not ready yet.
- Audience: This book’s target reader is a leader, manager, or executive navigating change or an employee being forced to navigate a change. Even if this is not you, knowing this will give you context on the draft.
